World Mental Health 2024

World Mental Health 2024
At Banana Moon Nursery, we believe that mental wellbeing is just as important as physical health, and we take pride in fostering an environment that supports the emotional and mental wellbeing of everyone—our staff, the children in our care, and their families.

This World Mental Health Day, our nursery manager reminded the team about the importance of self-care, encouraging them to take time to look after their own mental health. Supporting our team is essential, as their wellbeing directly impacts the care and attention they provide to our children.

We also understand how demanding parenthood can be, so we’ve provided our families with the opportunity to take a well-deserved break. As caregivers, it’s easy to forget about our own needs, and this is a reminder that taking time for self-care benefits everyone, including your little ones.

To show our ongoing commitment, we’ve shared our Banana Moon Wellbeing Pledges, which outline how we support mental health and wellbeing every day at nursery. These pledges are designed for Early Years Professionals, Families, and Children, ensuring that everyone in our community feels supported.

At Banana Moon, we are dedicated to creating a nurturing environment where mental wellbeing thrives, and we’re here to support you every step of the way.

Together, let’s continue to make wellbeing a priority!
