At Banana Moon we value our partnerships with parents and do all that we can to ensure our parents/carers are valued and part of nursery life as much as possible.

One of the key ways to do this is holding stay and play sessions where our parents/carers are invited along to join in with the day to day activities in the nursery, getting involved in their child's learning and development through play and activity. 

We tend to hold such sessions around celebration times such as mothers/fathers day, Christmas, Easter or themed events such as a sports day or teddy bears picnic. With this we try to be as inclusive as possible and vary the days of the week and time that they are held to give our parents a varied opportunity to attend. 

Due to the pandemic we have been very restricted of recent to hold these sessions however, they are now back in full swing and have been thoroughly enjoyed by our children, staff, parents and families with lovely feedback from all.
