At Banana Moon Day Nursery Baddesley Ensor, we understand that a child’s parent is their first educator. They are the person who knows the child the best and because of that we like to make sure that are parents are involved in all that we do. 

This month we are inviting all of our parents into nursery to have an appointment with their child’s key person. 

On Parent’s Evening all of our parents will receive a developmental update from our Banana Moon Curriculum. The child’s Key Person will provide a statement about how their child is doing, where they are developing and they will be told which aspects of the curriculum we will be focusing on the most to bridge any gaps in learning. It is at this point that we may suggest activity ideas or courses to take to improve parents knowledge too! 

We use this time to share information regarding school readiness, 2 year checks, internal transitions, changes to routines, support with toileting, dropping a bottle or general nursery life questions. You name it we will discuss it! 

If some of our parents can’t make the allocated week, it’s fine, we’re flexible! We will either arrange a different date or organise a call/zoom at a convenient time to share all the information so no one is missed out. 

We share information with our parents all year round via our Parent App but it's still so lovely to spend the time chatting face to face. If you would like an appointment see your child's Key Person to organise a date and time!
